“He is doing his Batman voice.”
Hours after the launch of three new character posters, the first full-length trailer for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles has arrived online.
Loaded with slick-action sequences and a thundering soundtrack, this trailer will certainly wet the appetites of those hotly anticipating this reboot of the iconic heroes in a half shell.
We also get our first real glimpse of the film’s antagonist, Shredder (William Fichtner) in all his pointy glory, where he faces off against the ninja turtles sensei, Splinter (Tony Shalhoub). We also see the heroes captured by the foot clan.
The trailer also drops a beat (cleverly employing Shrillex’s Reptile’s Theme), in an action-ridden conclusion, where in true Michael Bay form (he is producing this one, whilst Jonathan Liebesman directs) sees New York not fairly so well as the Shredding attacks the city.
You can watch the latest trailer below, and watch Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in UK cinemas 17 October 2014.
